How does College Puma help me and my family?

The average high school counselor-to-student ratio is 1:482. Unfortunately, this means that most students get little to no personalized mentorship from their school counselor. At College Puma, we provide expert-level, rigorously trained advisors who will mentor you one-on-one. We help you make all the right choices at critical junctures – from filling out the FAFSA to boosting your GPA, to writing effective scholarship essays.

Who are College Puma advisors?

College Puma advisors include educators with over a decade of experience in curriculum and instruction, financial analysts, and graduates from top universities in the U.S. All of our highly trained staff are high achievers who will pass their expertise on to you. Ultimately, our advisors are well-positioned to become your ally throughout high school and college. They will help you turn a stressful process into a positive, personal growth experience.

When does the program start and finish?

The program starts as soon as you complete your onboarding process! Once checkout is completed, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your needs analysis video meeting. From there, your advisor will create a customized plan of action based on your unique situation. The program finishes once you've received your financial aid disbursement from your college/university.

Do you offer payment plans?

"College Puma has partnered with Affirm, a leading provider of payment plans. Customers can now take advantage of payment plans that offer flexibility and convenience with terms up to 12 months. Interest rates will vary depending on the chosen terms, with options of either 0% APR or 10-36% APR. However, please note that eligibility is subject to an Affirm eligibility check and will be provided by lending partners listed on affirm.com/lenders.
